Aurelia Kramarivszka, how would you describe your style?
My style is immersed in a lively, dynamic, colourful world...
Who are your primary influences?
While specific subjects don't dominate my inspiration, certain artists like Andy Warhol, Frida Kahlo, Roy Lichtenstein, and Banksy certainly do.
What drives your creative process?
My creative muse is drawn from various sources—urban surroundings, street art, fashion, cars, sport, luxury watches, and the social media landscape. This is part of an aesthetic process that allows me to be very experimental, using everything from graffiti stencils, spray paint, markers, oil, acrylic, resins. I revel in using vibrant colors, liveliness and a generous dose of humour, sometimes inspired by the world of Walt Disney, blended with characters from classical culture.
When I have to create customised works at the request of clients, I listen to their needs, ideas and analyse their world, their experience, their style, their philosophy and try to create something that encapsulates their desire. Sometimes they are simple requests, sometimes everything is transformed, blended to create a mix of colours to give life to a decoration.
You are of Ukrainian origin, but you have traveled a lot. How has your multicultural experience shaped your art?
Travelling means being an artist in your own life and it is like building your own work of art. Each country I have lived in has inspired me to experiment with different styles, colours and cultural influences projecting you into a reality that is not your own but influences your thoughts and vision. It's a continuous journey through a kaleidoscope of experiences that have enabled me to evolve and diversify my artistic language. An experiential growth that today allows me to range with different styles.
