NAUTILUS - LEGACY OF TIME
A contemporary artist, Aurelia explores the world of luxury, iconic timepieces and the culture of collecting. Her vibrant compositions speak to those who appreciate character, detail, style and objects capable of telling a story with distinction.

Aurelia created this piece in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Patek Philippe Nautilus, this artwork reflects on time, desire and the value of what is destined to be passed down through generations.

The story begins in 1976, when Gérald Genta designed the first Nautilus, with its distinctive form inspired by the shape of a ship’s porthole. Its name recalls Captain Nemo’s Nautilus in Jules Verne’s Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea.

Over the decades, the Nautilus has evolved from a bold and innovative design into an enduring icon, with a distinctive character that continues to attract and inspire collectors around the world.

Aurelia’s interpretation brings together bold blues, purple, Tiffany accents and vibrant colour, creating a contemporary dialogue with the spirit of the original design.

Through Pop Art, these references become a new visual language, where legacy, ambition and imagination meet the desire for something truly timeless.

This work is created for those who see beyond the object itself — its history, its character and the story it carries through generations.

Because true luxury isn’t about trends.
It’s about Legacy.
